That's because RAMA is not your typical corporation.
RAMA has been around a long time, and RAMA.com has been around a long time in Internet terms. This domain originated as the corporate site for Richard A. McBride and Associates, hence the RAMA.com domain, in the mid-1980's. Since that time it has been the host for RAMA.com corporate email. However as a web site, RAMA.com has been offline for more than a decade.
It's time for a change. RAMA.com is now the home of RAMA space, a burgeoning community-based social networking site. This change will take place in three phases.
A minimalist RAMA space site goes back online with a couple of sample communities, a blog site and limited messaging capacity.
RAMA space adds forum capacity to each community and allows people to join RAMA space with their own blog and/or their own communities.
RAMA space becomes a full social network open to public participation and individual expression. This social network will have a member/community metaphor. People will be members of RAMA space and will also be members of communities in RAMA space. Interaction will be both individual and community based.
